About the role
LAAGAM is an independent fashion brand with a growing retail presence. We are looking for a Sales Assistant to join our team at WOW Concept Gran Vía in Madrid for 16 hours per week.
This is a customer-facing sales role. You will guide customers through the full purchase journey, understand what they need, suggest products and alternatives, and make sure every interaction feels consistent with LAAGAM.
You will also support the daily work behind a strong store: product knowledge, visual standards, stock, orders, the shop floor and the stockroom.
What you will do
- Welcome customers, understand what they are looking for and guide them through the full sales process.
- Advise on styles, fits, sizes, materials and product care with confident product knowledge.
- Suggest alternatives and complementary products when they genuinely improve the customer’s choice.
- Handle checkout, returns and day-to-day customer questions according to LAAGAM procedures.
- Help customers complete an online purchase when a product or size is not available in the store.
- Keep the store presentation aligned with LAAGAM’s visual standards throughout the day.
- Support deliveries, replenishment, stock checks, inventory and stockroom organisation.
- Work with the team to reach store sales targets and share useful customer and product feedback.
What success looks like
- Customers receive attentive, informed and on-brand service.
- Sales targets are approached as a team and opportunities for cross-selling are used with judgement.
- The shop floor and stockroom stay organised, accurate and ready to trade.
- Product, size and policy questions are answered clearly, or escalated quickly when needed.
- You are reliable across rotating shifts, weekends and peak retail periods.
What we are looking for
- Previous experience in fashion retail, sales or another customer-facing environment is valued.
- You enjoy selling, listening to customers and finding the right product rather than waiting to be asked.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a clear orientation towards sales and results.
- Professional fluency in Spanish and working English for international customers.
- Interest in fashion and the ability to learn LAAGAM’s collections, fits, materials and brand quickly.
- Availability to work rotating shifts and weekends in Madrid.
- Organised, dependable and comfortable supporting both customer-facing and operational tasks.
