Production Intern

Support fashion campaigns from preparation and fittings through shoot coordination and production wrap-up.

Apply for this role

About the role

LAAGAM is an independent fashion brand based in Barcelona. We are looking for a Production Intern who wants to learn how a fashion campaign is built from the inside.

You will support the team across campaign, editorial, ecommerce and content shoots: preparing fittings and samples, coordinating suppliers, keeping logistics organised and helping close each production properly.

This is an unpaid academic internship lasting three to six months. You must be able to sign an internship agreement with a university or other eligible education provider before starting.

Production support

  • Support the preparation and delivery of campaign, editorial, ecommerce and content shoots.
  • Help build callsheets, track production needs and keep the team aligned before, during and after each shoot.
  • Coordinate day-to-day details with photographers, videographers, stylists, hair and makeup artists, assistants, studios, catering teams and other suppliers.
  • Support the general organisation and logistics of each production, including last-minute changes on shoot days.

Fittings, samples and product

  • Prepare fittings, looks, garments, accessories and other materials needed for each shoot.
  • Manage sample movements, shipments, returns and the organisation of garments from current and upcoming collections.
  • Keep racks, looks and production materials clearly labelled and easy for the team to follow.
  • Coordinate seasonal silhouette cut-outs and track each delivery batch through completion.

Budgets and production wrap-up

  • Track budgets, quotes, invoices, expenses and payment status linked to production.
  • Collect the supporting documents needed to close each production and flag missing information early.
  • Keep supplier and freelancer information organised and update the team on deadlines or blockers.
  • Help reconcile planned costs with actual production spend under the supervision of the team.

What success looks like

  • Shoot preparation is complete, organised and ready by the agreed deadline.
  • Garments, looks, samples and materials are easy to locate and correctly tracked before and after each production.
  • Freelancers and suppliers receive clear information and follow-ups on time.
  • Budgets, invoices and production documents stay current and missing items are flagged early.
  • You handle recurring production tasks with growing autonomy while knowing when to escalate.

What we are looking for

  • You are currently enrolled in an eligible university, master’s or vocational programme that can sign an internship agreement with LAAGAM.
  • You are organised, proactive and practical, with strong attention to detail.
  • You can manage several moving tasks without losing track of deadlines, samples or follow-ups.
  • You communicate clearly and are comfortable working with different teams, freelancers and suppliers.
  • You are interested in fashion, creative production and how campaigns are executed behind the scenes.
  • Professional fluency in Spanish and working English.
  • Based in Barcelona and available for regular office, fitting and shoot work in person.
  • Previous production, styling, events or fashion experience is useful but not required.

What we offer

  • An unpaid academic internship with a university or eligible education-provider agreement. The agreement must be signed before the internship starts.
  • A duration of three to six months and a schedule of 30 hours per week.
  • A €500 LAAGAM clothing voucher during the internship. This is a product benefit, not salary.
  • Time off in lieu when additional hours are required on shoot days, agreed with the team.
  • Remote work on Thursdays and Fridays when there are no fittings, shoots, sample movements or other in-person production needs.
  • Hands-on exposure to campaigns, editorial, ecommerce and content production inside a fashion brand.

Hiring process

  • Submit your application and CV through this page.
  • If your application matches the role, we will invite you to a short asynchronous video interview in Hireflix.
  • The team reviews every video and decides who moves to a personal interview. Hireflix does not make hiring decisions.
