Graphic Design Intern

Create and adapt visual work across campaigns, ecommerce, CRM, retail, packaging and wholesale.

Apply for this role

About the role

LAAGAM is an independent fashion brand based in Barcelona. We are looking for a Graphic Design Intern to support the team across the visual work that needs to ship every week.

This is a hands-on role. You will adapt campaign ideas to real formats, prepare digital and print assets, update web and CRM materials and help keep LAAGAM visually consistent across every channel.

You will work closely with Brand, Graphic Design, Creative Growth & CRM, Digital, Retail and Wholesale. The role has the possibility of evolving into a full-time Graphic Designer position if the internship goes well and the company’s needs support it.

Campaigns and content

  • Create and adapt visual assets for brand campaigns, social media, paid media, ecommerce, retail and events.
  • Turn an approved creative direction into the formats needed for stories, ads, banners, presentations and other placements.
  • Edit images and simple video or motion pieces when the brief requires it.
  • Prepare final files with the right dimensions, specifications and naming before delivery.

Ecommerce and CRM

  • Design banners, landing-page assets and other visual materials for laagam.com.
  • Support visual improvements to size guides, menus, navigation and other parts of the online experience.
  • Create newsletters and B2B or B2C CRM assets from the agreed calendar, copy and creative direction.
  • Check that every asset is readable, on-brand and ready for its final device or channel.

Retail, packaging and wholesale

  • Design flyers, posters, vinyls and other visual materials for stores, activations and events.
  • Support packaging and garment-labelling projects, including artwork preparation and supplier-ready files.
  • Create wholesale sales materials such as linesheets, lookbooks, posters and merchandising assets.
  • Help organise and update the digital content that Wholesale needs for each market or customer.

How you will work

  • Read the brief, ask the questions needed to move forward and keep track of deadlines and feedback.
  • Organise working files and final artwork so another person can find, review and reuse them.
  • Handle recurring production work with care while contributing visual ideas when the project calls for them.
  • Check your own work before delivery and correct errors quickly when something changes.

What success looks like

  • Assets are delivered on time, in the correct format and without avoidable production errors.
  • Campaign ideas remain recognisable and consistent across digital and physical touchpoints.
  • Working files, final artwork and feedback are organised and easy for the team to follow.
  • You learn LAAGAM’s visual system quickly and can take on recurring work with growing autonomy.
  • You combine good taste with the practical discipline needed to get work live.

What we are looking for

  • You are studying or have recently completed Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related programme and can sign an internship agreement.
  • A portfolio showing strong typography, layout and visual judgement across digital or print work.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Figma experience is valuable. Basic video editing or motion skills are a plus.
  • Care with detail, file preparation, specifications and consistency across formats.
  • Able to receive feedback, ask clear questions and manage several small deliveries without losing track of deadlines.
  • Professional fluency in Spanish, as the team works day to day in Spanish, and working English for tools and international materials.
  • Based in Barcelona and able to work regularly from our Barcelona office.
  • Fashion, retail or DTC experience is useful but not required.

What we offer

  • A hands-on internship working on real campaigns and commercial materials from the start.
  • Exposure to brand, ecommerce, CRM, retail, packaging and wholesale rather than a single type of design task.
  • Direct feedback and the chance to build production discipline inside a fast-moving fashion brand.
  • Duration, weekly schedule and compensation will be agreed according to the internship agreement.
  • The possibility of evolving into a full-time Graphic Designer position based on performance and the company’s needs. This is not an automatic conversion.
  • Start date: as soon as possible.

Hiring process

  • Submit your application, CV and portfolio through this page.
  • If your application and portfolio match the role, we will invite you to a short asynchronous video interview in Hireflix.
  • The team reviews every video and decides who moves to a personal interview. Hireflix does not make hiring decisions.
